Each Fall, we present our W.A.F.F.P. Annual Conference to provide a forum to the latest technical and scientific information and timely coverage of the lastest topics of conern. It is the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with fellow food safety professionals. Our conference attendees include professionals in quality assurance, processings, regulatory, consulting, risk managment, research and development, microbial research, plant management, technical services material and equipment experts, allied suppliers, food growners, academia, along with other experts involved with the latest technologies pertaining to food safety.
In the early days, our association’s primary focus was on milk and dairy food safety. Today our organization has expanded to include an ever expanding forum the addresses numerous food groups, processes and technologies. As well as our educational agenda, our conference also includes excellent opportunities to network at our hospitality suite, or enjoy and round of golf in a tournament prior to the conference. Company participation is also present with Table Top Displays designed to be educational and provide knowledge of available services and technologies. Company sponsors provide milk breaks throughout the conference and provide prizes for our low key golf tournament.
